Match Rules
-
Matches are played as a best-of-three.
-
The first team to win two games wins the match.
-
You must ALWAYS have a drink in your hand
Home & Away
-
Home team for Game 1 is determined by Rock, Paper, Scissors.
-
Home and Away automatically alternate each game.
-
Game 1 – Winner of Rock, Paper, Scissors is Home
-
Game 2 – Home and Away switch
-
Game 3 – Switch back to the original Home team
-
Overtime
-
If both teams finish regulation tied at 21–21, the game enters overtime.
-
You can NOT go over 21 ("win by 2" does not apply in Kan Jam). Going over 21 reverts your score to 11, and the other team begins their turn
-
Each overtime inning works like regulation:
-
Away throws
-
Home receives an equal opportunity
-
-
Play continues until one team wins an inning.
Group Play
-
All teams will be placed into three groups of five teams.
-
During group play, each team will play one best-of-three match against every other team in its group, for a total of four matches.
